Today on my Motorola Droid Razr refurbished cell phone we’re going to check out AllTrails. One of my favorite apps, AllTrails helps people, who love the outdoors to find the best hiking locations all across the world. From new, used and refurbished cell phones updates seem to take ages when on an Android device. You hear about the lateast and greatest update only to find out your phone isn’t getting one for weeks, months or not at all. So what’s the deal? Why do Apple products get updates seemingly faster than all Android devices? Why does one phone get an update and dozens others either take months, or never get it? Well, we got the answers after the break!

After the dust has settled from the new development involved with a decade old DMCA law, we can take a closer look at what the ending of the unlock exemption means for everyone with a new or used cell phone. Upon it’s announcement people cried foul of the DMCA’s over broad definition of what is protected under copyright law. That any circumventing of factory installed software to get media is considered a breach of copyright. This is overly broad because you may just jailbreak a device to test your own programs, or unlock because you travel abroad often. But because you COULD use these processes to get to media that you typically wouldn’t, it is illegal under the DMCA. So why did this happen and how?

Today TheBlueDot.net reviews the HTC Droid Incredible for Verizon Wireless one of the best Verizon phones of 2010, the specific grade type we’re reviewing in the video is a refurbished cell phone. The HTC Droid Incredible was released April 2010 as one of HTC flagship Android devices. Even though it has been a couple years, it still manages to keep up with the best mid-range Android devices out there. The Incredible’s design was emulated in future HTC devices for a couple years, seeing hints of it’s design in the Evo and even their Mytouch series.

With Microsoft releasing surface and Windows 8 in the next coming months more and more info has been spilling out to give customers an idea of what they are in for. SmartGlass, if you’re unaware, is an “app” that will connect all your digital devices together even if it’s a refurbished cell phone. So they will feel more like limbs of a single device, as oppose to devices connected via bluetooth. The idea goes along with Windows 8 new metro design that will be across all windows device. Such as their phones, tablets, PC and even the Xbox (which was updated today with a quasi Windows 8 look). But what is the first SmartGlass app to surface this coming year?
